fewbase Support: support tickets for your product

Support collects requests from your customers — through a hosted portal page or a widget you paste on your site — into an inbox on fewbase.com. You answer from the inbox; the customer gets every reply by email and opens the conversation by a personal link, without an account.

Inbox with open and answered requests

Support is built for an indie developer or a small firm that needs a place for customer questions without setting up a helpdesk. One service holds one product’s requests: it has a name, a portal address and a language. You sign in with the same fewbase account you use for the other tools. It covers receiving a request, answering it, closing it, and keeping a list of who wrote to you. On Pro and Business you can invite teammates by email to answer alongside you in the same inbox — see Settings.

  • Requests. A queue of open and answered requests, a thread per request with a reply form, up to three images per message, close and reopen, automatic closing after a set number of days.
  • Customers. Every email address that wrote to you, its requests, and a button to revoke the customer’s personal link and send a new one.
  • Widget. One <script> line that puts a support button on your site and opens the request form in a panel.
  • What your customer sees. The portal form, a confirmation email, a personal “Your requests” page and the thread where they reply or mark the question resolved.
  • Settings. Name, language, whether the portal accepts new requests, auto-close, and deleting the service.
  • Customers never create an account. A request is confirmed by pressing a button in an email, and everything after that runs on a personal link.
  • The widget is a form inside a frame served from fewbase.com, so the spam check works on your site without adding anything to it.
  • Requests, messages and customers are never deleted one by one — only together with the whole service, by you.

The Free plan gives one service per account with the portal, the widget, email notifications and image attachments. The fewbase Pro and Business subscriptions raise the number of services to 5 and 20. See Plans and limits.
