fewbase Invoices: client invoices for one-person businesses
Invoices issues client invoices from your fewbase account: invoices, quotes and credit notes, numbered, rendered as a PDF, and sent by email with replies going straight to you.
Who it is for
Section titled “Who it is for”Invoices is built for a single person running their own business — freelancer, indie developer or one-person studio — who needs to bill clients without a full accounting package. There are no teams, roles or shared inboxes: one seller profile, one login, the same fewbase account you use for the other tools. It covers issuing a numbered document, sending it, and recording what got paid.
What it does
Section titled “What it does”- Documents. Invoices, quotes and credit notes, with line items — quantity, unit price, discount and VAT — and totals that update as you type. Save keeps a draft; Issue gives it a number.
- Clients. Name, address and tax details entered once and reused on every document; archive a client instead of deleting it.
- Numbering and lifecycle. One number sequence per year, assigned only on issue. An issued document can be edited until it is paid, and every earlier version is kept.
- Sending. A public link the client opens without an account, plus an email with that link; you can revoke the link at any time.
- Payments and credit notes. Record part payments against an issued invoice, or issue a credit note against it to correct a mistake.
- Your details, your logo. Set them once in settings; every sheet carries them.
How it is different
Section titled “How it is different”- An issued document keeps its number when you edit it, and every earlier version stays available as a PDF. After payment, a mistake is corrected with a credit note that references it, so the paper trail stays intact.
- Sending emails a public link instead of a PDF attachment; the client opens the same sheet, sees payment status, and can download the PDF themselves.
- One number sequence per year, assigned only at the moment of issue, not when the draft is created.
