What fewbase is
fewbase is a small platform of single-user web tools — Time Recorder, Subscriptions Tracker and Infra Tracker — sold and operated as software as a service. An account is personal: one person, one account. You are responsible for what happens under yours, including keeping access to the email address that signs you in.
You must be at least 18 years old, or have the legal capacity to enter into this agreement where you live.
Free and paid
Each tool has a free tier that is a working plan, not a trial: it does not expire and does not ask for a card. Paid tiers lift the limits stated on each tool's page. We may change what the free tier includes, but we will not reduce what you have already paid for during a period you have paid.
Prices, tax and payment
Prices are shown on each tool's page in euro and are exclusive of VAT. VAT is added at checkout according to your country and status, and the final amount including tax is always shown before you confirm payment. Payment is handled by Stripe; we never see your card.
Subscriptions renew automatically for the same period until cancelled, and you can cancel at any time from your account — access continues to the end of the period you have paid. One-time purchases (where a tool offers lifetime access) are a single payment and do not renew.
We issue the invoice ourselves, once a month: a single document covering that month's payments, sent to the email address on your account. If you are buying as a business and gave a VAT number at checkout, it appears on the invoice.
Right of withdrawal and refunds
As a consumer in the EU you normally have 14 days to withdraw from a distance contract. Because fewbase gives you access immediately after payment, at checkout you expressly request that we start straight away and acknowledge that you lose the right of withdrawal once the service has been fully supplied — as allowed by Article 16(m) of Directive 2011/83/EU.
That is the legal floor, not our policy. If a paid tool did not work for you, write to info@opentech.ee within 14 days of the payment and we will refund it. We would rather return ten euro than keep an unhappy user.
Business customers buying for their trade or profession have no right of withdrawal.
How you may use it
Do not use fewbase to break the law, and do not:
- monitor infrastructure you have no right to monitor;
- attack, overload or probe the service or the systems it talks to;
- resell or share a single account across several people;
- upload other people's personal data you have no basis to process.
If an account is doing any of this, we may suspend it — with notice where circumstances allow, immediately where they do not.
Availability
We run fewbase on Cloudflare's network and keep it working, but we do not promise a specific uptime figure and there is no SLA at these prices. Monitoring tools in particular are a second pair of eyes, not a guarantee: do not rely on Infra Tracker as the only thing standing between you and an expired certificate.
We may change or discontinue a tool. If we discontinue a paid tool, we will give at least 30 days' notice, let you export your data, and refund the unused part of what you paid.
Your data and our software
What you put into the tools stays yours. We store and process it only to run the service, as described in our Privacy Policy. The software, design and brand of fewbase stay ours; nothing here grants you a licence beyond using the service as offered.
Liability
Nothing in these terms limits liability for death or personal injury, for intentional or grossly negligent conduct, or anything else that cannot be limited under Estonian or EU consumer law.
Beyond that, and to the extent the law allows: our total liability for any claim is limited to what you paid us for the affected tool in the twelve months before the claim, and we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss — lost profit, lost data you did not keep a copy of, or damage that follows from an alert we failed to send. Keep your own backups of anything that matters.
Ending the agreement
You may stop using fewbase and ask us to delete your account at any time. We may terminate this agreement with 30 days' notice, or immediately if you breach these terms materially. Paid periods already started are refunded pro rata unless we terminated for your breach.
Changes to these terms
We will email account holders before material changes take effect. If you do not accept them, you may stop using the service and receive a refund for the unused part of any paid period.
Law and disputes
Estonian law governs this agreement, and the courts of Estonia have jurisdiction. If you are a consumer, this does not deprive you of the protections of the law of the country where you live, and you may bring a claim there.
Consumers in the EU may also use the European Commission's online dispute resolution platform at ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr, or turn to the Estonian Consumer Disputes Committee. We would rather you wrote to us first: info@opentech.ee.
